Debt Disasters
School starts in TN in two weeks. This summer has been something else over here which (hopefully) culminated in a painful root canal last week. Yesterday, I arrived at the beach and dove into warm and wild waters. Instantly, I felt better.
And then, the balcony
Later this week, we will receive New Home Sales and put a final period on the selling season. With builder confidence coming down again in its latest report, it’s unlikely those sales will be anything to write home about.
Last week I mentioned those buckled columns at the former Pfizer building in NYC, but I could not let the story go as I knew there was much more to it especially when it was announced that the developer closed on its next project one week after the incident on East 42nd Street. A subscriber thankfully sent me some videos and down the rabbit hole I went. Please find below my discoveries including the tangled web we weave when debt makes literally everything possible.
