I must say I get tired of the whining by the media/homeowners/loan takers over this or that thing going bad BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T ACTUALLY READ WHAT THEY ARE SIGNING. At some point, you have to take some responsibility for your actions. If you don't understand it, don't just sign it, find out, get some clarification (in writing) and understanding. It's your largest investment (your house/mortgage) don't you think you should try and understand? And make sure it has no errors. Every single closing I"ve had (over 30 years) has had errors that have to be corrected before we could continue that nobody but me ever caught. And i'm just an average guy.

I agree with this. As awful as the banks are, etc. contract law is the most basic tenets of our society. And it's just been thrown out the window on several occasions since the GFC.

Melody, I was kind of shocked to find out that people actually didn't pay mortgage during the pandemic. I guess some profited by buying and selling at a profit a house in 1, 2 years for which they didn't pay a mortgage in that time. No wonder, houses became like "candy" without the full realization that the mortgage payments will come to roost...

Understanding your health insurance predicament - we have chosen to withhold the health insurance ransom payments and look for alternatives. I wouldn't give those mafia agents a dime. Check out Saifadean Ammous's youtube channel. He has a healthcare sponsor.

Largest bank on the planet (ICBC), 4th largest automaker on the planet (Stelantis), 3rd largest law firm on the planet(A&O Shearman), largest mortgage broker in the US(Mr Cooper), and Boeing(Defense Contractor) ALL "hacked" within days of each other! Courtesy of ZeroHedge commenter Keeper20

Thanks. I’m curious if you could occasionally add some coverage of some of the better or worse REITs

I suspect a not insignificant part what gets done in business and government requires VLOOKUPs. And yet everyone is telling us AI will take over any day now.

Thanks for another article and good luck with your time managment. Happens to the best! :)

Seems the mortgage industry is a lot like the Hollywood film agencies. They work on a film...on a tight budget and deadline, then go broke and go under, then form another company, do a film and rinse/repeat. Our previous mortgage lender left her company, started her own brokerage and now works independently. Hoping construction % rates go down a bit into next year.

Have you heard the Blackrock financed most of those “spec homes” and those developments you have focused on, knowing that they will buy those assets latter at 5-10 cents on the Dollar?

I personally think that BlackRock does not have as many dollars as it thinks.
